Joe Robertson appeared on BBC Politics South with Peter Henley, reflecting on the election and talking about dealing with the ferries.
Joe has had a busy first few weeks in Parliament since the election, where he secured a total 10,427 votes, which secured a majority of 3,323. On the show he discussed how he was shown around all the different departments in Parliament and was sworn in which he recalled as being a very surreal moment.
Joe made it clear throughout the election that he would work together, with Labour MP for West Wight, Richard Quigley on the issue of the ferries and that he will be pushing for the Secretary of State for the regulation of ferries to ensure companies do not continue profiting off the Cross Solent Transport.
