This morning, Joe Robertson MP had the pleasure of visiting the Sandown Sorting Office to witness the important work Royal Mail staff are doing to keep the Isle of Wight connected this Christmas.
"It was great to meet the team, see how the mail is sorted, and learn about the shift from letters to parcels as more of us shop online," said Robertson. "Royal Mail is an iconic part of Christmas in the UK – it wouldn’t be the same without our posties! I’ve got a newfound appreciation for what they do after seeing how the operation works on the inside."
During his visit, Robertson expressed his gratitude to the Royal Mail staff for their dedication and hard work during the busy festive season. "A big thank you to the staff for their warm welcome and for working so hard during the busy festive season," he added.
