Joe Robertson MP attended an NHS England Winter Drop-in Event, where he met with Phil Evans, Consultant Practitioner at Hampshire and Isle of Wight. During the event, Robertson was introduced to the latest equipment used by frontline clinicians to monitor and treat patients within the community, reducing the need for hospital visits.
"I was shown the latest equipment frontline clinicians use in the community to monitor and treat patients without requiring a trip to hospital," said Robertson. "New technology like this is crucial to help reduce unnecessary hospital visits and allows patients to be treated more in their homes and at a local level."
The innovative technology demonstrated at the event is designed to enhance patient care by enabling more efficient and effective treatment in community settings. This approach not only alleviates pressure on hospitals but also ensures that patients receive timely and convenient care.
